Jo-Anne LaLiberte, President Friends of Music is a group of Winchester citizens (mostly parents of high school music students) who support the school music program through (1) dissemination of information to the community about performances, accomplishments, and the role of arts education, and (2) active involvement in fundraising, bringing enrichment programs to the schools, and providing manpower when needed.

Catherine Alexander, Director The Winchester Cooperative Theatre produces year-round musical productions. Children audition and are given instruction in drama, music and dance. In November, middle school students perform a full-length musical. In March, grades 4–6 perform a children's story and in the summer a non-auditioning camp is offered to grades 3–9.

Taggart, Founder/Director Workshops for various ages with the Recreation Department, the Jenks Senior Center, with Language Arts in the classroom and with other arenas vary in their emphasis, but all aim to enhance individual creativity and to empower. Some of the theatre techniques used are yoga and relaxation, theatre games, mime, movement and improvisation.

Students studying musical instruments or voice in grades 7–12 meet at private homes in an informal setting. The Club provides opportunities for students to hear each other and gain confidence in performance. This Club is open to any student living or studying in Winchester.

Marilyn Wilson, President The Winchester Players, in existence for over 30 years, presents two major productions in the fall and spring, an experimental play in the winter, and a shorter play for its annual meeting in May. These productions require a variety of talents: acting, directing, lighting, sound, set construction, publicity, and many others.
