Winchester Cultural Council 2018 Grants

The Winchester  Cultural Council has awarded $5,583 in LCC grants to 10 individuals and organizations for 2018. The recipients and their projects are:

  • Margo Attaya (Winchester), for her documentary film, The Greening of Winchester
  • Francis Hart (Ashland), for a performance and presentation at the Jenks Center, "A Cultural and Historical Reflection of the 1960s through the Music of The Beatles" (April 7, 2018)
  • Davis Bates (Shelburne Falls), for “Generations of Fun: A Grandparents' Day Celebration” at the Jenks Center (September 9, 2018)
  • Srabonti Bandyopadhyay (Winchester), for  Natya Blend,” a classical Indian dance performance, dates TBD
  • Wright-Locke Farm (Winchester), for the Family Farm Night Music Series (7 Thursday nights from June to August, 2018)
  • North Suburban Child & Family Resource Network (Wakefield), for a family concert by Roger Tincknell on the Common (August 8, 2018)
  • Ethnic Arts Center (Somerville), for "Immigrants, Past and Present", Puppet Shows at International Day on the Common (early September 2018)
  • Lincoln School Parents Association (Winchester), for a school field trip to the Concord Museum (April 2018)
  • Winchester After School Program/Kids' Corner (Winchester), for arts enrichment programs (January 31 and March 15, 2018)
  • Winchester Archival Center (Winchester), to bring the Mass. Memories Road Show to Winchester (October 20, 2018).
