For many years, the Winchester Farmers’ Market has made a space available free of charge to members of the Winchester Artists’ Network (WAN). Artists have the opportunity to demonstrate their craft and to sell their artwork to the public. Membership in WAN is free of charge and open to all artists who live in Winchester or have a meaningful connection to Winchester. A membership form can be found at https://www.winchesterartistsnetwork.org/contact-join/sign-up-join-wan.
The WAN tent has the following guidelines.
- Available for the duration of the Farmers’ Market, June 14 through October 25, 2025 (special arrangements are made, with more opportunities, for Art in the Park, August 16, 2025)
- Plan to be set up and ready by 9:30 a.m.; you must stay until the market closes at 1:30 p.m. Please allow enough time to set up before the market opens.
- Artists have are encouraged to give a demonstration or have a similar activity to engage visitors.
- Reservations are first-come, first-served.
- One artist per week. Sharing is allowed by mutual consent (all participants must be registered).
- Each artist may take a maximum of two dates. (This limit will be waived for slots that are open two weeks before the date.)
- Artists are supplied the WAN tent and a table. You must supply your own chairs and displays.
- You are expected to show up on your scheduled date! If you need to cancel, please tell us as soon as possible.
- An unexplained no-show may result in denial of future use of the tent. The market is open rain, wind or shine so plan accordingly.
To sign up, use the form or email Peter Pulsifer at market@winchesterartistsnetwork.org with your preferred dates and a brief description of your planned activities.
