On August 11, come meet Beck Fischbach. Beck is a Winchester native born in 1991. He has always had an interest in the arts and has found himself experimenting with different mediums of expression throughout his life.
He studied photography in high school and college, did costume creation and design along with prop making for his cosplay hobby, created abstract metal structures from recycled materials, sugar sculpting, resin art, and most recently abstract acrylic flow paintings.
During the Covid-19 pandemic Beck found himself with a lot of free time in isolation from others. He saw the internet trend of pour painting and decided to try it out. He began experimenting with different ratios and additives to create the right consistency for his paint and created his own pouring devices that allowed him to achieve a unique style of paint displacement.
Beck attended the University of Massachusetts Boston and has a bachelor’s with a joint major in psychology and sociology with a double minor in history and anthropology.
