Alcyon Chamber Ensemble

On March 30, Alcyon Chamber Ensemble, Inc (ACE) will present Gershwins "Rhapsody in Blue" in an arrangement for chamber ensemble by core member Michael Weinstein. Dr. Weinstein will give informal remarks about Gershwin. In fall 2008, ACE will present a program of Beethoven chamber works, "Beethoven: The Tempest", which will also include pre-concert remarks. These programs will have collateral performances in area schools; students will attend free. Concerts will be at Parish of the Epiphany in Winchester, which donates its space for performances and rehearsals.
